Samsung Galaxy Note 4

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was one of the first mobile phones to coin the “phablet” term – part phone, part tablet. Undeniably to fit a 5.7 inch screen into the device it would mean the phone would sometimes require two handed operation, but the trade-off is one certainly worth taking.

Virtually all technical aspects of the phone are among the best in class versus the other current smartphones on the market and you can get a great deal on a monthly contract refurbished Note 4.

Choose the refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 4 model that you would like from the list below to see the latest Note 4 refurb deals.

All you need to know about the Samsung Galaxy Note 4

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the latest in the popular series of Samsung Note mobile phones and houses one of the largest screens yet seen on a mobile phone at a massive 5.7 inches. The size of the screen places the phone in the “phablet” category – in between sizes for a phone and a tablet. Arguably having a screen this size on a phone gives you the advantages of both a mobile phone and a tablet device. Nevertheless, operation will usually be a two handed affair, but there are some handy software shortcut which can help to make the device a one handed operation phone such as sidebar links and resizing the screen size.

A feature of the Samsung Galaxy Note range is the inclusion of an S-Pen (a stylus to you or me) which can be very useful to take notes quickly and places this phone firmly in the business phone category. In saying that, you would struggle to find a better phone to play games on or stream video to given the stupendous 2560 x 1440 resolution super AMOLED screen.

The phone runs the Android OS (current version Lollipop) extremely well and blazingly quickly, no thanks in part to the quad-core processor running at 2.7 GHz and the 3GB of RAM that comes with each device.

The camera is one of the finest I have ever used on a mobile phone (disclaimer my primary phone is a Note 4 so I am very familiar with it!) It houses an impressive 16 megapixel sensor which is exactly double the megapixels level that is found on many iPhone models. The optical image stabilisation really helps when taking photos on the move and it is capable of taking quick bursts of photos in succession so you stand the greatest chance of getting just the right shot.

The Note 4 contains all the latest connectivity standards such as LTE 4G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.1.

The battery really shines on the Note 4. No doubt helped by the size of the device, Samsung have manged to fit a removable 3220 mAh battery which can run video for an impressive 14 hours. What is even more impressive is that if you use the supplied fast charge cable you can charge the battery on the Note 4 up to 50% charge in around 30 minutes. Given this and the fact that the battery is easily removable you shouldn’t have low battery problems with this phone.

The phone is quite expensive brand new (understandable based on the amount of cutting edge tech that is included) and it is a flagship Samsung Galaxy model but you can get an excellent deal on a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 4 which would typically include a free phone and a competitively price monthly tariff.
